Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT)
Job Description & Responsibilities
• Provide one-on-one ABA Therapy in home, center, school, and community-based environments. • Implement individual treatment plans developed by Lead Analysts. • Apply behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with the client(s) and take accurate and reliable data for all areas of treatment. • Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individual treatment plan. • Provide regular written and verbal progress updates on treatment goals. • Assist client(s) as needed to acquire academic and/or appropriate life skills. This may include toilet training, eating, and other self-help skills. • Support the Lead Analyst with training families on how to implement the individual treatment plans. • Participate in team meetings and training workshops. • Ensure that the client is in a safe and positive environment, always. • Follow the policies and procedures of ABS THERAPY GROUP, INC. • Follow all ethical, legal, and procedural rules & regulations of the state of Florida and the Agency for Health Care Administration.
Educational & Certification Requirements
To be employed as an RBT by ABS Therapy Group Inc, you must: • Be at least 18 years old. • Have a high school diploma or an equivalent diploma. • Complete the required 40 hours of training. • Undergo a background check within 180 days of submitting your completed RBT Certification Application. • Complete and pass the RBT Competency Assessment. • Complete and pass the RBT exam. • Have a bachelor’s Degree from accredited university or college in a related human services field or have at least two years of experience providing direct services to recipients with mental health disorders, developmental or intellectual disabilities.
Assistant Lead Analyst (BCaBA)
Job Description & Responsibilities
• Conducting initial consultations with the client and performing diagnostic assessments. • Meeting with families and educators on client's concerns as needed. • Conducting observation of clients within individual and group settings • Create simulated conditions and observe the behavior of each client. • Formulate an appropriate treatment plan that is sensitive to clients’ cognitive, social, emotional, and sensory needs. • Administer treatment and tailor interventions. • Suggest additional treatment by other professionals as required. • Operate within time constraints. • Remain abreast of changes in research on evidence-based practices. • Advocate for the inclusion of individuals with disorders and disabilities within society.
Educational & Certification Requirements
To be hired as a Assistant Behavior Analyst by ABS Therapy Group Inc, you must: • Master's degree in psychology, applied behavior analysis, or similar. • Accreditation as a behavior analyst or suitable equivalent. • Proven experience as a behavior analyst. • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Behavior Analyst. • Proven work experience as a Behavior Analyst or similar role. • In-depth knowledge of and adherence to applicable ethical codes. • A valid driver’s license with own transport is preferable. • Knowledge of appropriate referral procedures. • Excellent verbal and report writing skills. • Calm, empathetic, and patient demeanor. • Ability to remain composed and adherent to best practices, even when under duress.
